Privacy Policy

Account data — if you create an account: email, a handle, display name, and avatar. Authentication itself is handled by our infrastructure provider (Supabase); we never see or store your password.

Gameplay data — how long a game stays open, visible, and in focus, plus device type and a summarized browser/OS string. This is what XP, streaks, and leaderboard position are calculated from, whether you're signed in or playing as a guest.

Voting data — liking/disliking or favoriting a game as a guest is tied to a random id stored in a cookie, not to anything identifying, so the same device doesn't vote twice.

Anti-fraud data — a hashed (not raw) version of your IP address, kept alongside session records to catch abnormal scoring patterns.

The cookies this site sets are functional, not third-party tracking: keeping you signed in, remembering an anonymous voting id for guests, and saving preferences like theme. You'll see a cookie notice on your first visit — declining it doesn't block gameplay, but since these cookies are what login, guest voting, and saved preferences run on, the site can't disable them and keep those features working.

The platform shows ads through third-party ad networks, which may set their own cookies and collect data under their own privacy policies — that's between you and them, not something we control. Our infrastructure (database and authentication) is provided by Supabase, which processes data on our behalf.

Raw session telemetry (heartbeats) is kept for a limited window — up to 3 months — and purged afterward; the summarized session record (time played, points earned) is kept longer, since it feeds your profile history. Account data is kept while your account exists.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data tied to your account — including full account deletion — by writing to us on the contact page. Under the LGPD (and equivalent rules elsewhere), you're entitled to that regardless of where you're playing from.

KiwikiGames isn't directed at young children and account creation isn't intended for anyone below the age where they can legally consent to data processing on their own in their country.
